The Darwin Clay Target Club (DCTC) is open to ACTA members for practice every Wednesday night from 5 pm until dark.

 

For those traveling the club has club guns for hire.

​

If you are intrested in trying out Clay Target Shooting as a Sport the Club holds a come and try night on the last Wednesday of the month.  Email nfertie@msn.com for bookings.

Is there an age requirement?

Yes.

12 years and over.

​

What footwear is required?

All shooters are required to wear closed-in footwear. Thongs are not permitted.

 

How much does it cost?

Come and Try is $50. 

Includes 15 targets, 15 cartridges, ear protection, gun hire with coaching.

We have EFT facilities available. 

 

Is coaching available?

The DCTC has members available to provide instruction on gun safety, range etiquette and how to shoot.

All beginners will be required to participate under the guidance of a DCTC member.

 

Is a firearms license required?

No.

A firearms license is not required to shoot but please do not bring any firearms or ammunition to the range that you are not licensed to possess.

 

Do I need to book?

If you are an ACTA member and attending the practice Wednesday you do not need to book.

What about experienced shooters?

We have regular club competition shoots every second Sunday.  At times competition will be held on a Saturday night.

 

Do you hold corporate events?

Yes.

All corporate events are subject to the availability of voluinteers. Cost is $70 per person with the minimum numbers of 15 to be in the group. Cost includes gun hire, ammunition, targets.
